The dummy proofs for the collector’s editions finally arrived, and they look amazing!
They are called dummy proofs because the interiors are blank. The printers send these out so we can approve the foiling, endpapers, and anything that will be printed in color. Once we approve these, then we line up in the production queue. If everything goes smoothly, we’ll be shipping these out by this summer at the latest. If you missed out on the original campaign, the late backer store will remain open for a couple more months.

The foiling looks so good! The technique the printer used on the edges is called gaufering, which incorporates sprayed edges with foiling. This is not something you will see very often on special editions, but I really wanted to make these special.
